With the season just roughly 2 weeks away, hoop fans are exciting for another NBA season for the ages.

As we are in the midway section of the NBA preseason, teams are linking together the final pieces needed to compete for an NBA championship. In addition, the league is preparing fans to get pumped up by a dope visuals courtesy of their #ThisIsWhyWePlay campaign.

In one highlight reel called “Zeroes”, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook delivers an electrifying monologue about putting aside last year’s wins and losses to celebrate the excitement and infinite possibilities of a new season. No matter their past, each team and player has the chance to begin anew as all start from zero. Check out why he’s one of the most intense, most passionate ballers in the game today.

In the second visual entitled “29”, newly crown NBA world champion Kyrie Irving introduces viewers to the mindset of preparing for battle as he starts the 2016-2017 with a huge target on his back as 29 other hungry teams are coming for him and his NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers squad to become the head honchos of the league. After beating the odds last season, Irving is more determined than ever to defend the Cavaliers’ title.

“Zeroes” will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 13 during TNT’s preseason doubleheader, which begins at 8 p.m. ET with Toronto Raptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers and concludes with Portland Trail Blazers @ LA Clippers at 10:30 p.m. “29” will debut the same day across social and digital platforms.
