Not only did his massive win shock those who are still convinced his campaign is a joke, but it also struck fear in a lot of Americans: Google searches for how to obtain Canadian citizenship surged 350 percent Tuesday night. (Photo by Jabin Botsford/The Washington Post via Getty Images) President Obama Plans to Stay in Washing After Presidency While we’re cherishing these last few days of having Obama as president, Barry announced he and Michelle plan to stay in DC post-presidency so that his daughter Sasha can finish high school there. While the decision to stay seems to be based on family, many are wondering (hoping) while staying in Washington, Obama finds some political affairs to have a hand in. Leonardo DiCaprio Finally Won An Oscar Sunday brought an Oscar win for the veteran actor, who has been snubbed at the ceremonies since 1999. Winning the award for his role in The Revenant, Leo used his platform during his speech to address the importance of environmental responsibility. Cop Who Arrested Sandra Bland Is Officially Fired Brian Incinia, the cop who pulled over Sandra Bland for “failure to use a turn signal,” has been formally fired by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Though no one has yet been indicted in relation to her death, the motion to fire Officer Incinia comes after a jury found his reason for removing Sandra from the car questionable. The grand jury doesn’t believe he removed her in an effort to conduct a safer traffic investigation, and found him guilty of perjury.
