Congratulations are in order for Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx, who was yesterday (Wednesday, November 18) named Miss Golden Globe 2016.

The University of Southern California senior will distribute trophies onstage to award winners during the 73rd Golden Globe Awards in January. Handpicked by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the envied role has traditionally been the son or daughter of one of Hollywood’s most respected thespians.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as this isn’t her first time being associated with the grand stage. Her father won the Golden Globe for the 2004 biopic Ray, in addition to two nominations for his role in Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story and supporting role in Collateral.
