Uh oh! New Balance taking Converse to Court!

New Balance has filed a lawsuit against Converse accusing them of copying their trademark properties. The news comes from a response of Converse to assert trademarks with the classic canvas shoes with rubber toes. The main issue is said to be with New Balance’s PF Flyers and Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars, both with the exact same rubber toes.  They have sold more than $50 million of PF Flyers as of today. New Balance is seeking a “declaration of non-infringement” against Converse. Converse has yet to respond but will soon probably voice their opinion on the matter. Stay tuned for further news on this dispute via The Source mag.
