Shia LaBeouf Says He Was Raped During An Art Performance Show Last Year The Source December 1, 2014 Film, Hip Hop Entertainment | Hip Hop TV, Film and Video Games Just…wow Shia Labeouf has been engaging in–for lack of a better term–a bunch of weird sh*t lately, including an hour-long “silent” interview with Dazed magazine and a performance art piece entitled #IAMSORRY, his solemn response to several allegations of plagiarism. In said performance art piece, Shia sat alone in a room with a paper bag over his head with “I am not famous anymore” emblazoned across it, and allowed attendees to walk into the exhibit and do to him whatever they pleased. According to Labeouf, one woman came in and, well, raped him. One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for 10 minutes and then striped my clothing and proceeded to rape me. Then walked out with her lipstick smudged to her awaiting boyfriend, who I imagine was quite hurt by it. All this happened in front of hundreds of people. Labeouf went on to say that after the woman left the exhibit with her “lipstick smudged,” word travelled back through the line to his girlfriend, who was understandably upset by the news. Yea it was no good. Not just for me but her man as well. On top of that my girl was in line to come see me because it was Valentines Day & I was living in the gallery sleeping in a sleeping bag for the duration of the event – we were separated for 5 days, no communication so it really hurt her as well as I guess the news of it traveled through the line. She was only about 25 people back. All encounters were one person at a time but there were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with disheveled hair and smudged lipstick. According to Labeouf, the “rape”–which sounds like a cover-up, considering Labeouf isn’t what one would call petite–lasted 10 minutes.
