Today marks the start of New York Fashion Week and you can rest assured that fashionistas from all over the world are hitting the town to take part in the biannual extravaganza. The citywide event takes place twice every year, once in February and then again in September. On each occasion leading designers and new hopefuls alike, host a series of events where they present their fashion collections to the public.
Among the many spectacular shows that took stage this past weekend was one Fashion Frenzy Art Pop. Held in the Meatpacking District at The Griffin and organized by Lisa Ajello of eyePRmedia, the event featured new lines from designers Clash By Dash and Zefjuku, as well as artwork by Danielle Colucci which tastefully decorated the venue. Local stylist Barbie Beach of Patricia Field NYC and Ryan Marisca of VH1’s reality series “Miami Monkey,” co-hosted the affair that also included numerous music and dance performances.
