R&B singer Kelis released her new single “Been Given A Morning” from her 6th album entitled FOOD. The single is a slow ballad that blends jazz, R&B, and soul and it is produced by Basshitter.

It has been three years since her last album, Flesh Tone but this time around she is cooking up something new. On the single, she reveals her softer side and she’s not afraid to show it. Known for her screaming signature on her songs, she toned down her voice on this single.
