In a move that shocked that the NBA world, the Chicago Bulls traded former league MVP Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks earlier this week. Since the announcement, the hype and buzz in and around the city of New York has been nothing short of electric as fans look forward to what Rose can bring to the team. In his very first press conference as a New York Knick, Rose was very optimistic, sharing that he does not want to think about getting back in MVP caliber form, opting instead to let his play on the court do the talking for him.
Rose further expounded on his mindset, as he told the media that he recently spoke to former teammate Joakim Noah, who is set to become a free agent in July and urged him to sign with the Knicks. He also revealed why he will be wearing the #25 jersey in NY, as well as his sentiments on playing with Carmelo Anthony. Watch the clips below.
