Missy Elliott is making moves and adding to her already lengthy Hip Hop legacy. Yesterday [June 2, 2016] Missy announced she’ll be featured on the 2016 rendition of the Ghostbusters soundtrack.

Along with Missy, artists Fall Out Boy, G-Eazy, 5 Seconds of Summer and Wolf Alice will be lending their musical talents. Missy announced the news on Instagram, recollecting on how she loved the series growing up.

Elliot is a veteran rapper and songwriter who has a rich history in music. Just about every heavy-hitting female R&B singer with a household name has had a hit written by her. Additionally her own music and music videos can’t be defined as they are the pinnacle for creativity and individuality that most artists dream of reaching.

The official Ghostbusters movie will hit theaters on July 15. The soundtrack is set to be released July 8. There are rumors Elliott and Fallout Boy will be the artists responsible for the movie’s theme. For more updates, follow Missy Elliot here.
