We’ve grown accustomed to Draymond Green being an animated, driven player both on and off the court over the last couple of years, and we’ve already seen eventful post-game press conference footage of him snapping on a reporter who asked a set of questions that eventually cost him his job.
This press conference footage, however, is pretty uneventful. Strangely uneventful. Scarily uneventful.
As Warriors big man Festus Ezeli answers reporters’ questions, Draymond Green beams brightly with a toothy smile, then slowly fades into a less-beaming, still-toothy smile, and just kind of gets stuck there. His gaze fixes on something in front of him and his grin just hangs in the balance until Ezeli turns to Draymond, referencing him, at which point Green quickly snaps out of it.

Green will likely be in a similar zone for Game 3 of the Warriors’ Conference Semifinal series with the Blazers, which is Saturday in Portland.
