According to a Facebook post by Phife Dawg‘s manager/DJ, Rasta Root, there’s a new single coming out by the late A Tribe Called Quest emcee, who passed away March 22.

Titled “Nutshell,” the song was produced by his close friend J Dilla and drops tomorrow [Tuesday, April 5] via Smokin’ Needles Records.

A portion of the proceeds from the track’s sales go to the American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation. Phife passed away from complications stemming from his tumultuous battle with diabetes. He was 45.

A music video for the single also debuts Tuesday [April 5] at “The Celebration of Phife,” a memorial planned at Harlem’s Apollo Theatre.

“Nutshell” is available exclusively though iTunes and premieres on Apple Music’s Beats 1.
