Big Boi of Outkast has been a fan of New York City-based electronic duo Phantogram for years. In a 2011 interview, he was asked about some of his biggest inspirations and who he had on rotation in his car. He replied, “I can’t do without my George Clinton. I do call upon his expertise for a reason. I’m totally digging on Cee Lo Green bringin’ it the way he does. I’m still feeling some of Phantogram’s tracks, too.”

Fast forward to 2015 and Big Boi finally made a collaboration between the two come to life with the Big Grams project. The trio released one self-titled EP and since then has been relatively quiet…until today [Tuesday, March 29].

Big Grams has released a video for “Born to Shine,” featuring Killer Mike and “Run For Your Life.”

Directed by Awesome Inc., the new visual sees Big Boi, Phantogram’s Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter portrayed as cartoon characters. They fight villains in the “Born to Shine” segment then navigate a haunted house in “Run For Your Life.”
