Armed with lessons learned from the process surrounding his lukewarmly-received debut album, Finally Famous, Big Sean embarked on album journey #2 during the summer of 2013. Having successfully placed his stamp on 2012 with his scene-stealing contributions to the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, Cruel Summer, Sean looked to mature both his persona and his music with Hall of Fame, expanding his songwriting and production palette with guys like No I.D. and Finally Famous producer Key Wane. The result? A 4-mic album, and the stepping stone for the biggest year of Sean’s career, 2015. Before all that, however, he posed for our cameras as he was honored as the subject of the cover of our 16th Annual Power 30 issue. Behind the scenes footage above.
