Kobe Bryant has been a warrior for his NBA career; however those battles seem to be catching up with him.

Bryant played a season high 36 minutes as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Detroit Pistons 97-85.

Though it gave the Lakers their second win of the season, it will cost the 37-year-old as he will sit out the Lakers’ next game against the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Bryant would be lucky to make it to his car at this point.

Right now, I’m barely standing up. My back and my legs, man, it’s killing me,” Bryant said after he scored 19 points and added 8 rebounds. ”  “I’m not looking forward to walking to the car right now,” Bryant said. “Seriously.

The Lakers have made it a point of emphasis to keep Bryant’s minutes down, in this his 20th season in the NBA. Bryant has miss three of the potential ten games already this season.
