Despite numerous denials from Kevin Love and Flip Saunders, it’s pretty clear that Love is ready to leave the Minnesota Timberwolves. The latest reports say that Love has asked to be traded and if he isn’t he will leave when he becomes a free agent next year.
Love reportedly has two teams on his wishlist. The first one is a no brainer as talks about Love to the Los Angeles Lakers have been going on for quite some time. The second team is probably more of a long shot.
Kevin Love’s people reiterated to the Timberwolves this past week that they had better trade him or else he’ll leave via free agency when his contract is up after next season. With Love looking to exit, there’s your No. 1 reason the T-wolves have not been able to find a head coach to take over for Rick Adelman. Love wants to play for the Lakers but he’s also open to coming to the Knicks.
