Manziel meets with NCAA over potential autograph scandal
Johnny Manziel has officially met with the NCAA over allegations that he exchanged autographs for money.
Six representatives from the NCAA’s governing body met with Manziel at College Station this Sunday to question him. The two parties spent roughly six hours meeting together.
Sources have told CBSSports.com that in the meeting Manziel denied ever taking money for autographs. There is no word on whether or not the NCAA was satisfied with Manziel’s answers.
Texas A&M opens up their season this Saturday against Rice. The Heisman Trophy winner is expected to start as he took all of his reps with the first team.
